“I have had the pleasure of working with Mary Jo Cooke of Farmhouse Cabinetry multiple times. Her passion and enthusiasm for what she does is always apparent. Her skill at creating beautiful and functional items is fantastic. Her goal of making the space she is working in better and more organized helps turn a house into a home. I would highly recommend Farmhouse Cabinetry for your next project.“

“Mary Jo has worked on several projects for us, including the installation of new windows throughout the house and replacement of several doors, both interior and exterior. She is dedicated, knowledgeable, and highly skilled, comfortable with both straight-forward carpentry and more challenging, artistic projects. Her friendly, positive, cheerful attitude instills confidence that the job will be done well the first time.
She is very versatile and one has the impression there is no problem for which she cannot find a creative solution. Her love for using reclaimed material not only can save money but give a project a sense continuity – or add a touch of history! We have been very pleased with her work and recommend her highly.”
“There isn’t enough we can say about Mary Jo Cooke’s talent. We met MJ through a mutual friend and it was fun getting to know her, the local wood savant! She spent time with us to determine what we wanted and what our space was like. Recently moving to Vermont from Texas, we always dreamed of having a natural wood dining table where we could entertain guests and MJ made it a reality.
Our custom dining table is beautiful. The tabletop was made from 80-year-old pine that her father and uncles harvested from the Ottauquechee River in West Woodstock, not far from our new home. It was exciting to get pictures from MJ throughout the process…what would it look like now?!
Thank you, Farmhouse Cabinetry, for making our Vermont log cabin a special place for us, our family and friends to gather around.”

“Simply outstanding craftsmanship! Mary Jo’s ability to look at an old tin roof, or a fallen tree branch and envision the beautiful piecelying with in is amazing! Having enjoyed so much of here work, I think the greatest compliment I can give is her superior work ethic and wonderful personality. She really listens and keeps you informed.”
